Its a 2009 Santiago Ruiz from the Rias Baixas, 15 bucks a bottle.

It is the first wine I tried and actually liked, it’s one of those experiences like the first sip of coffee you like, sort of remarkable.

However, it works against it too because, in order to make an adolescent like a wine without lying to you, you better make it very light flavored and easy to drink... which this totally is and might dissuade enthusiasts of more flavored wines.

Well, there are different kinds of wine for different situations, a lighter wine or a rosé is great for hotter climates in the summer.

Oh... I got confused when I looked it up... Thats for the newer ones. But I’ve tasted many different years of it and it’s always good. According to a wine website the price of a 2009 is 21 dollars....yikes! Not exactly breaking the bank but not cheap either.

That bottle was just laying around my house because it’s our go to wine for events... Along with... I wanna say Vinardo... Or maybe protos?

They suck here in Mexico... At least in the cities it’s slow and expensive. I went to ATT which sort of doesn’t suck... Except whenever I’m more than 20km outside a metropolitan area.
